Welcome to TEN, Yasha. Your website is most intriguing but FYI -- the online catalog link --

does not function. Please feel free to join in the discussions and to blog here, you have so much to offer!

Hi Yasha,
I have also started a Group for Book dealers, and added your name.

I can almost smell the coffee you are drinking in your photo! In Colombia, many years ago, at the airport I sat at the bar with a cup of high quality aromatic coffee steaming in front of me. As I reached for the sugar, the bar tender slapped my hand gently - 'do not spoil the delicious taste of real coffee' he said. I have drunk black and sugarless coffee ever since!

I meant to type that the act of Parliament is from the 1770's. I won't bother correcting all the other typos... just please consider them corrected. I must type slower.

Yasha,
I am a past and recently returned member of ESA. I created a an both an Ephemera Society of America and UK groups here on the Network where, eventually I hope, members can interact on society elated issues.

I'm hoping T.E.N. will serve to support and ideally even help grow the two larger societies and maybe help or spawn some smaller one's in other places. I also think there is potential for T.E.N. to introduce younger people to ephemera and bring them into the societies. That would spell success for me as the administrator.

I have been going through the ESA directory and inviting members a few at a time. But it is slow going as I must type in each email address.

In terms of coffee, I have tied to stay focused on America as it is a broad subject actually. I do know that Lloyds of London started as a coffeehouse. While collecting on behalf of the Specialty Coffee Association of America, I acquired an act of parliament from the 1870's I think regarding coffee exports...or was it exports. In any case, I know this type of thing is not all that uncommon for collectors in the UK but my American colleges are always so intrigued to be looking at paper that old.

As for the Templars I have only a passing and I suspect common interest. I am deeply fascinated by the subject but it seems a deep rabbit hole that, given my curiosity, I could, I could become lost in. So, unless you have some information about Freemasonry and coffee, I think I'll steer clear of another obsession.

Incidentally, I have lived in Templars Crescent since 1972, several years before I had any interest in Freemasonry. The street I live in was founded by the Knights Templar and that is the derivation of the word. What is your interest in the Templars?

Hello!
Bonjour!
Ciao!
Hola!
(I won't risk the Hebrew)
Welcome to T.E.N and thank you for being one of our pioneering members. You are really located on a street named "Templars Crescent?"
