Hi, I'm Cliff Aliperti and I run an informational web site dealing with Movie Cards and Collectibles from the silent age through about the 1950's and Magazine Back Issues from the 19th Century and up. Of course, I also sell the same type of items.

I'm interested in obtaining an image, if you still have one, of Myrna Loy. The one I'm interested in would be one of the Shothein(SP) tobacco cards, of her in oriental costume and makeup in an oval frame. It appears to be gold embossing around the frame. I have some hotel paper from her home town (here in Helena), and she had a suite in the hotel. Could you possibly contact me via my email addy for this type of thing? I didn't look, but I am also intending to do Tom Mix and have a Cigar label image, but if there are tobacco cards for him, ditto. Same thing goes for Mix. He stayed at this hotel. Owners are interested in my art. ;o)
I wasn't about to bid on the lot without examining the entire lot piece by piece. Only showing the headers doesn't do me a lot of good. If you do however, manage to snatch it, let me know. There are a couple of pieces that I might be interested in depending upon what isn't visible!
Hi Cliff and thanks for the welcome. My collecting interests seem to be all over the map. The focus keeps changing and evolving. The thrill of pursuit and discovery drives the passion. Cool site you've got! My collecting has wandered in and out of old movies, with just a few things to show for the interest. ReelClassics.com might be of interest to you, if you haven't seen it already. I've been reading Elizabeth's site for years--great stuff there for the old movies buff.
A late Welcome to the community. Just finished going over your website, Great Work. I have always been interested in move memorabilia. Hope to hear more from you soon and will also sign up for your newsletter.
Hi Cliff, I just Joined this site today. I came here through Ephemera Society of America. I have a website where I sell Magazine Back Issues as well: http://www.paperbilia.com. I saw you were online, so I just stopped by to say hi.
