About Me:
I'm a mixed media artist. My work is focused on corporate and private commissions to commemorate historic milestones. I also do commissioned portraits and family history pieces.

My work incorporates my clients' personal memorabilia, such as letters, documents, drawings and other mementos. Many of my commissions are for privately owned banks which were chartered in the early 1900's. Original documents-sometimes even original stock certificates-are provided by the client.

The result is a work of art that tells an authentic and personal story.

My collecting follows the projects I work on. For instance, state maps, regional ephemera and other thematic elements are also incorporated into the art piece. So the first phase of any project is focused on research and purchasing a wide range of paper ephemera.

My personal collections have developed from this. I have a large collection of mid-century kitchen shelf paper and paper dolls and clothes. My other areas of collecting are maps, playing cards (or swap cards) vintage wrapping paper, Christmas cards and valentines.
