First Competition Ribbons

First Place: Post Cards (holography art exhibits); Second Place(s): Postal Stamp Collection (hologram stamps of the world), Vintage Photograph (holography scientist Emmett Leith, 1964), Children's Book (the Mirrorstone, first book ever published with holograms); Third Place: Rare Book (the Nature of Light, 1898). All ephemera related to the field of holography. Held recently at the Great Allentown Fair, Allentown, PA (home of the Great Eastern Book & Paper Show each year). After nearly 35 years of collecting, this was my first competition. Fair attendance was 500,000 for the week.
