Collectors, check out my first-ever postings of ephemera on TEN - some of the political ephemera I saved after the primary election of September 11, 2001 in New York City was canceled and rescheduled two weeks later... and materials I collected associated with the 2004 Republican National Convention at Madison Square Garden.

Go to the ALL SCRAPBOOKS page of TEN.

I just updated my website so you can now see my collection of Bill and Hillary Clinton magazines. If you are interested in politics, please join America's Third Party Political Network.. No need to "Sign Up" just "Sign in" with the same information you use here (since it's a ning site).

This will probably end up in the Library of Congress, or Smithsonian Archives, but wouldn't it be cool to actually get a look at it?

What a great topic for a group! My collection consist mostly of Presidential items but I have many pieces from all areas of the political spectrum. I feel that this is a great and historic year for Presidential collectors, Like it or not history has been made and as with other historic events a premium is eventually placed on items from that time. I personally have a large tote filled with President-Elect Obama ephemera. I have hopefully protected the items by using archival safe bags and boxes and feel that I have enough variety to satisfy my 2008 collection needs. On another note by stocking up now I am able to get multiples of many items and have extras for future trades or sales. I am a realist and know it will take many years for value maturity but it is fun to know that I have a tote of history to pass on to one or more of my 10 soon to be 11 childern. I'd like to say thank-you for the site and this group, it gives me the "me" time I need to focus on my hobby and it's nice to share a great site with good content with my kids!
