Thanks, I'll do that. I recently did a dragonfly on a cover for the USPS Dragonfly stamp, and this image reminded me of the stamp image. Well, that and I like the lettering!

Dave, if you visit Lewis Jaffe's blog Bookplate Junkie, you'll find the image and several more from the same artist. Lewis commissioned the bookplate directly. Actually, I thought he was a member here, but it looks like he's not. We should probably change the image until he comes along and gives permission for its use!

Thanks for the comments--I have looked on Ebay, but a lot of the offerings seem to be new items (and all Czech). I'll have to be patient and wait for something good to show up! I appreciate the help!

Honestly, one of the best places online is ebay. I don't think any other website can match the selection, but as always, buyer beware.

Hello!

I own a literary web site. One of our columns is about bookmarks. I have been a collector for about six years now and own around 1,200. Most of them are antique ones, but if I see an interesting new one I like I will keep that too.

I see there are only three of us now, but I invited several more to come. I hope to meet everyone soon.
