THE EPHEMERA NETWORK

A Community Site for Anyone and Everyone Interested in Ephemera

Okay. Let's give this a try. You can post a link to your current item(s) up for auction on ebay here. If you want to post a link to your "store" (whether on ebay or as a stand-alone venture) -- please do so on your member page (My Page) and not in this discussion thread.

This discussion will be vigorously monitored with devastating perspicacity!

If a TEN member posts in such a way that it abuses the opportunity offered here by TEN, the post will be deleted and seller will be notified. Do it twice and you're banned from posting. Three times and you're blocked from TEN. Deal? Posts will be removed after the auction is completed unless the TEN member wishes to post an update with the price of the sale and/or success of the listing.

If you're unsure about what to post here, send me a TEN message. Members - please feel free to send me a message if you notice any violations.

Valerie,

I guess I will jump in here to list one item that I have up for auction, but closes tomorrow evening (Sept 9th). This is a 1979 QHS Quincy High School Basketball Souvenir Paper, that was published as an insert to the local Herald Whig newspaper. click here to view. I hope this is how this discussion will work. If not please advise. Thanks.

Valerie, could I just post things I might like to give to any member who is interested? I don't have anything right now, but I occasionally get paper that may interest others. And I don't sell, but enjoy sharing when I can.

Works for me. If things start getting complicated, we'll open up a separate thread for such things. I like the idea of sharing. Once everything is scanned here at my house, there will be paper to give away also.

John - that's great. And to readers - if you right click on your mouse, you can choose to open the links on TEN in a new tab (FYI) and then you'll stay here in TEN Land.

I don't necessarily need the 1979 basketball paper but looking at your scans of it sure is interesting.

Keep it up... the posting of ebay sales, I mean. Who knows, maybe someone will see your item and just have to have it!

I'll give this a try as well...

Here is a great 1963 VIETNAM ERA DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY PAMPHLET entitled "PERSONAL PROPERTY SHIPPING INFO".

The brochure is 17 pages long, all in black print and a red on yellow cover. It talks about what a soldier is to do now that he has his orders to move and the services that the Army will provide.
